Young skin is rich in collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid (HA), a molecule which draws water to the skin and provides hydration. As we age the levels of collagen, elastin and HA start to reduce, resulting in aging, skin laxity, lines and wrinkles, and less hydrated skin.

The skin can also lose moisture, and/or elasticity and plumpness due to excessive sun exposure, high levels of stress, central heating/air conditioning, and hormonal changes. 

Skin boosters are hyaluronic acid (HA) gels which are injected just beneath the skin to improve the hydration and elasticity of the skin, and to improve the appearance of superficial fine lines.

They can be used to target problematic areas, and unlike dermal fillers, they will not change the shape or volume of your face. They will simply help to improve the elasticity, radiance and smoothness of the skin, creating a fresh and natural look. 

There is little downtime following treatment.

You can expect to see results after one treatment, however a course of 2-3 treatments may be recommended for optimal results.

Results can be expected to last 6 months.
